We are truly blessed to have such faithful brothers and sisters in Christ supporting us all of the way. Our team of 5 will be setting off on the 5th of June to Ulaanbaatar, Capital of Mongolia and will be returning to Singapore on the 27th of June.

Over the past few months, our team has been actively doing bible studies, reading up on Mongolia’s culture and people and attending workshops organized by FES to further prepare ourselves for our upcoming mission trip. God also truly provided by sending people who helped us to link up with 2 Mongolian missionaries and even a Mongolian pastor! Even though we only got to meet each of them for only a few hours, we learnt a lot more about how God was working through His people in Mongolia and how our team could be a part of it. The insights that they provided far surpassed anything one could find in the books and we truly thank God for them.

Our training culminated with a 3-Day mission training camp in Indonesia which was conducted as part of the G3 programme. During the camp, we were tested and challenged with scenarios that we would likely face in the mission field itself, ranging from finding our way to Indonesia to organizing outreach programmes and workshops. Over those short three days, our team learnt many valuable lessons. We learnt practical lessons such as what to look out for or take note of whenever we first enter a mission field and lessons on group dynamics such as learning to identify and cope with each other’s strengths and weaknesses so that we could better work together as a team. However, the most important lesson that we took away from the camp was the importance of always focusing on God through it all, no matter how busy each day promised to be.We hope that this newsletter would serve to update all of you on what we are going to do in Mongolia and help you all to pray more specifically for our team. Thank you for being our prayer warriors throughout this time of service.

Team Mongolia
